Located at our Corporate offices in Milwaukee, implements and is accountable for all aspects of coordinating international intracompany transfers of employees and their families for all Johnson Controls business units. Assists in the maintenance and application of corporate policy regarding International Assignment, Tax Equalization, and Relocation. Provides advice and service to Johnson Controls employees in the area of international transfers and assignments. Position is responsible for preparing and calculating expatriation cost estimates for management review and approval, and prepares associated assignment letters/contracts. Conducts regular periodic reviews, and special reviews as needed, of balance sheets to determine deviations in cost of living and housing allowances and differentials.
Collects and administers all information regarding employee transfers including: personal employee information, domestic and foreign cost of living and housing, suitable and cost effective accommodations, work and residency permit requirements, medical requirements, and personal security information. Communicates with and advises expatriate employees accordingly. Maintains an expatriate database with employee, assignment, and cost details. Disseminates pertinent employee information internally to the home and host HR and payroll functions to ensure proper administration and payment, and externally to third party resources. Coordinates and communicates tax compliance requirements between home and host location including: cost estimates, hypothetical tax calculations, worldwide compensation collection, and tax filings. Analyzes, reports, and verifies quality, timeliness, and accuracy of service and data provided by external vendors. Monitors and analyzes compensation and other related details concerning expatriate assignments and advises management of findings, along with recommendation for correction.

REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a candidate with a BBA or business related degree with 1-3 years experience as an International Assignments Analyst or equivalent with a multinational company, with experience handling expatriate affairs. Applies sound judgment and possesses the technical knowledge required to deliver effective counsel to others regarding international assignments. Knowledge of Human Resources principles (recruitment, compensation, benefits, training/development, and payroll). Must have strong organizational, communication, motivation, and persuasion skills with proven analytical and problem solving ability. Fluency in English required, and proficiency in a foreign language is preferred.
