Implementation - Senior Analyst - Mercer HR Services US

Mercer HR Services currently has an opening for a Senior Implementation Analyst in our Norwood, MA office. The Senior Implementation Analyst is responsible for assisting on new client implementations as well as providing ongoing support to existing clients. This includes documenting system requirements, using software tools and programs to setup system, interfacing with managers to clarify additional system requirements, and performing functional system testing. The two primary functions of a new Implementation Analyst are to program Mercer's proprietary administration database and perform system testing.



To fulfill this role the Senior Implementation Analyst will:



Program Mercer's database to implement system and convert source data.

Assist in developing test criteria and conducting functional system testing.

Work with clients to map data from their sources to our model.

Interface with Mercer managers to clarify business requirements and design.

Interface with Mercer staff and clients to clarify or resolve issues related to deliverables.

Act as a resource to the Technical Client Manager in organizing the project plan and controlling project scope.

Provide guidance to implementation consulting analysts.

Assist in translating client deliverables into business requirements.


REQUIREMENTS


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or related field preferred

Proven experience in the programming and development of HR information systems is preferred

Experience in the HR Employee Benefits Outsourcing industry is highly preferred

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

Experienced user of PC's required with proficiency in Microsoft Office a plus

Documentation skills are required

Excellent oral and written communication skills along with superior interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team environment is critical
