Imaging Processor - Entry

Provide mail handling services for Benefits Center client teams by opening incoming mail and preparing it for scanning.
Perform high level document assessment and prep the mail based on procedures provided.
Scan prepped mail to the Imaging system using high speed document scanners.
De-prep scanned documents to identify checks and original documents to be sent to the Benefit Center or Shared Services team for further processing.
Index document images for selected items by applying the correct participant ID to the image.
Fulfill on-line requests from client teams for original paper, error correction, or issue resolution from the paper stored in Imaging. Provide written responses as to what action was taken.
General light maintenance on the scanners and other small office equipment daily.
Maintain paper and electronic logs of received accountable items.
Use Internal Document Capture Program to perform quality checks and reorganization processes on scanned document images.
May be asked to participate in ad hoc projects as the business evolves.

Deliverables
Accurate and timely document images viewable by the client teams and document processors.
Flawless execution when preparing documents to be scanned, minimizing errors and back end work.

Performance Measures
Team achievement of timeliness and quality SLAs as well as other operational metrics as applicable. Meet service level commitments 100% of the time.
Consistent attendance within the guidelines of the Team.
Indexing non-barcoded documents accurately and in a timely fashion.

Special Conditions
This role may include opportunities for cross-training in other functional areas.
In some areas, this may include a lifting requirement up to 50 lbs.

Work Hours: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
REQUIREMENTS
Education
High School Graduate

Experience
1-2 years in related role preferred

Additional Skills or Knowledge Required
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good time management skills with a focus on meeting time commitments and exhibiting a sense of urgency to complete the work within service level commitments.
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability for one's work.
Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish the above tasks within agreed timelines.
Works well in an environment that can change quickly and is flexible with regard to workload and/or specific tasks assigned.
General office experience is a plus.
Previous imaging experience is a plus but not required.
Able to use the number pad on a keyboard a plus but not required.
