Human Resources Manager
Business Unit: GE MoneyFunction: Human ResourcesResponsibilities: * Lead and plan the execution of policies and programs encompassing all aspects of HR for 300 non-exempt and exempt employees in Tempe, AZ site.
Provide HR support and leadership to multi-functional and multi-business Client groups in Retail Sales Collections, Healthcare Consumer and Provider Servicing
Anticipate HR and employee related situations and provide counsel to associates and managers to resolve through open communications.
Establish self as a key member of the multi functional site leadership team.
Drive strategic & operational level HR-related planning, staffing, Session C, compensation planning, leadership coaching, employee development & performance management for the site.
Recommend and lead improvements to HR programs and policies.
Develop and deliver proactive Employer of Choice Initiatives.
Partner with clients on organizational design strategies.
Investigate employee concerns, conduct internal audits, and implement appropriate resolution steps.
Partner with managers to interpret and administer HR policies, including the Spirit and Letter Integrity policy.
Network, partner and engage in best practice sharing with business wide HR teams.
Foster an environment conducive to teamwork and diversity within the site.
Ownership for identification, selection & retention of world-class talent.
Lead salary administration and performance evaluation process and monitor effectiveness of evaluation system.
Drive positive change through various "Voice of Employee" mechanisms. (Road to Excellence, Communication Councils, etc.)~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in business, Labor Relations or Human Resources.
Minimum 4 years experience in Human Resources.
Knowledge of HR functions including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, EEO, employee relations, and staffing and HR practices and policies.
Strong personal accountability and track record for delivering on expectations and commitments.
Demonstrated sound problem solving and decision-making skills based on analysis and evaluation.
Strong organizational/follow-up skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple and changing tasks simultaneously.
Strong project management and strategic partnering skills.
Experience in effective resolution of employee issues, strong facilitation skills, and counseling skills.
Proven ability to work with all levels of management.
Proven ability to establish strong partnerships with leadership team.
Demonstrated integrity, strong judgment, and effective leadership coaching skills.
Superior listening and interpersonal skills.
Proven strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
