We currently have an opportunity in our Fort Worth, TX Home Office for a Human Resources Generalist – Level I.
Human Resources Generalist – Level I
Bombay’s Human Resources Generalist will perform diversified human resources duties of a highly confidential nature utilizing a high degree of tact, initiative and accuracy. The HR Generalist will assist with the recruiting process, i.e. resume tracking, coordinating interviews, reference checks, preparing offer and rejection letters, job postings and new hire orientation. A primary responsibility will be the implementation and completion of the exempt and non-exempt annual performance review cycles for all employees. In addition, you will administer and process monthly short-term incentive programs for all field employees. The HR Generalist will also perform other compensation program duties as assigned. To make this happen, you will take on the following responsibilities, among others, to include:
Unemployment claim administration
Generate and track documentation related to job descriptions and personnel changes
Promote a workplace environment that is respectful and values diversity
Answers general HR related questions regarding policy, procedures, and record information
Facilitate and manage candidate background check program
Administration and maintenance of relocation program
Draft memos to request information from employees and/or vendors
Interpret, update and maintain personnel policies
Complete projects as assigned
Job Requirements
Travel Percentage: 0%The ideal candidate selected for this position must meet the following skills and experience requirements:
Four year Degree in Human Resources or business related field
1 – 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
Knowledge of employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, ADA, and ADEA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and Guest Service skills
Able to travel and work hours necessary to meet deadlines
Highly organized and an ability to multi-task
