HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST

The Tesoro Refining and Marketing Company is seeking to fill the position of Human Resources Generalist at its Anacortes, Washington refinery. The refinery is located about 60 miles north of Seattle on the Puget Sound, supplying gasoline, finished distillates, and other products throughout the West Coast region.

This position partners with site management to deliver creative and effective solutions in areas involving performance management, employee and labor relations, recruiting, training, policy administration, and Human Resource related reporting. Requires a BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience; experience in the administration of a labor agreement in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Must have working knowledge of employment/labor laws and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge in performing HR generalist functions. Must have well developed written and verbal communications skills and proficiency with office computer applications.
