Human Resources Director - Generalist

Plays a key role in achieving the practice’s strategy through his/her ability to align people with strategy and support and manage change.
Advisor to practice on organizational and human resource issues. Proactively identifies needs, brings issues to leadership’s attention and works toward successful resolutions.

Supports Huron’s culture by ensuring that HR practices are aligned with objectives, facilitating and coordinating effective communications, fostering a fun environment that recognizes accomplishments, and measuring success.

Facilitates orientation and assimilation programs in assigned practices.

Assesses morale, counsels with management and implements programs targeting retention of high performing employees. Gains an understanding of turnover drivers and addresses with management.

Coaches management on employee relations matters, effective communication and coaching skills, employee performance management and risk management. P

Advocates for employees, while always acting with a view to the good of Huron. Builds strong relationships.

Supports and monitors development planning; acts as resource for coaches in supporting individual employees.

Expert on company policies and procedures, and draws on corporate resources as needed.

Provides feedback on established programs and practices; works with VP of HR to develop company programs, provides training as needed and delivers programs to practices.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area, minimum of eight years in human resources generalist role with at least three years in management. Strong leadership and change management or organizational development skills.Please apply through our website at
