Human Resources Director - Bilingual Chinese (615N)

Bilingual Chinese Human Resources Director
Major International Firm is seeking a manager for their Human Resources Department in Beijing.
Leading all the key areas of HR including strategic planning, leadership development, recruitment, ER and training/development, this individual will responsible for the HR policies, practices and systems of the office. Will also be responsible to develop efficient systems and execute strategic direction of HR.

Responsibilities:
*Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to determine their human capital needs
*Review job requisition responsibilities to ensure that they meet the Asia division standards
*Facilitate approval of job responsibilities with NY Office
*Source, identify, and interview qualified candidates for these positions and manage candidates through the entire interview process to ensure a smooth transition from acceptance to start date.
*Develop pool of potential candidates and maintain relationships with fee based agencies as needed
*Coordinate staffing events and programs
*Implement and maximize the use of technology in recruiting
*Work with the Director of Recruiting to ensure alignment with company recruiting policies and practices
*Support Managers and Staff in resolving employee relations issues and ensure the success of employee programs such as the performance, salary validation, compensation and benefits.
*Act as liaison for training, development, recruiting, benefits, HRIS and payroll
*Responsible for conducting New Hire Orientation for all new employees
*Responsible for expatriate issues
*Administer and maintain all aspects of health and welfare benefit programs including leave plans, disability, health, dental, life and other programs
*Other responsibilities as necessaryJob Requirements*Experience with Visa Administration and Immigration issues
*Senior-level knowledge of human resource management, especially in recruiting, employee relations and training systems
*Strong relationship building skills
*Fluency in Mandarin and English (read, write, speak)
*Strong understanding of Asian culture
*Excellent presentation and communication skills
*8-10 years experience in HR Management, especially for Asian entertainment, media, sports company or retail organization
*Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and assessing effectiveness of HR programs
*Experience working with senior management teams
*Must have Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
