Human Resources Department Manager

Large printing company needs a department-level Human Resource Manager to be a part of the plant leadership team. The Manager will lead a staff of three professional-level people and be responsible for traditional H.R. tasks, as well as help determine the overall plant direction. This is a union plant which has experienced no work stoppages, and labor relations experience is beneficial. Leadership will be in the areas of hourly/salary recruitment and employment, counseling employees at all levels, budgeting and reporting for the department, legal requirements, safety & environmental issues, workers compensation, training, payroll, process improvement/employee team building, policies, diversity, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful Candidates should have:
HR Department-level Leadership in a manufacturing plant
Labor Relations Experience
Experience as a member of a plant leadership team
Excellent administrative skills
A Bachelor Degree in a related field
Good interpersonal/counselling skills
