Human Resources Coordinator
The position will provide HR support to Bay Area and Washington Offices (250 employees), including recruiting coordination, PeopleSoft entry, managing Continuing Professional Education, and employee file maintenance. Supports Human Resource Manager and HR Generalist.
Recruiting coordination of new employees
· Schedules interviews for prospective administrative, college, and foreign national candidates, Makes candidate travel arrangements when needed.
· Coordinates pre-employment documents, directions to office, candidate interview schedule and processes background checks for all prospective candidates.
· Coordinates college recruiting events, activities and socials.
· Prepares and administers all offer letters, new hire packets and on boarding information. Coordinates the on-boarding process of new hires including New Hire Orientation. .
PeopleSoft Database
· Enters all PeopleSoft changes (salary, status, new hire, transfer, separation, etc.).
· Generates, maintains, and distributes staff listings, compensation queries, and headcount reports.
· Communicates new hire, termination, and bonus information to Center for Information Management.
· Processes employee changes (LOA's, status changes, payroll adjustments, state withholdings changes, etc.).
Training and Professional Development
· Serves as the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Coordinator.
· Communicates CPA exam and professional licensure information, as well as Firm-CPE requirements.
· Coordinates with Business Line Advisors on which employees to register for National CPE courses. Submits registration forms and any changes (new hires to be registered, late additions, cancellations) to the National office. Ensures registrants are aware of required pre-work, deadlines, and the necessary travel forms.
· Coordinates regional entry level Assurance training.
· Maintains local records of in-house and external CPE hours.
· Prepares Form E's and Form G's to send to the California and Washington Board of Accountancy, and verifies Audit Matrix accuracy.
Employee File Maintenance
· Ensures employee files meet internal and legal requirements. Monitors the completion of Firm-requirements for new hires
Terminations
· Coordinates the separation process for terminating employees including preparing and administering separation packets, collection of company property, work with others to ensure smooth transition.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· 1 to 2 years HR administrative support experience in generalist function.
· Professional services firm experience preferred.
· Advanced Word skills; Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills.
· Knowledge of Access preferred.
· Experience coordinating and managing large meetings preferred.
Compensation:
