Human Resources Associate I or II

The Sky Bank Human Resources Information Center (HRIC) supports all employees at Sky by taking a highly proactive approach in providing human resources assistance from our new operations center in Steubenville, Ohio. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with the desire to grow and excel in a team environment. We are a call center providing a multitude of HR services to our regional human resources teams and employees. We are looking another great addition to our team.
This full-time, non-exempt position provides support for the HRIC call center operations. Position work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm depending on need. Overtime may be required on occasion to meet departmental deadlines.Answer calls from Sky employees and other clients. Provides outstanding service and follow up to all employees in answering questions and providing timely and accurate information. Processes new hire, job changes, termination and other employment paperwork. Manages Family Medical Leave and Short Term Disability cases as required. Processes verifications of employment, candidate rejections letters and other employee forms. Maintains and updates Excel spreadsheets as required. Works closely with Payroll Department. Conducts periodic client SNAP's to ascertain employee and client opinions and attitudes. Will maintains absolute confidentiality in all work
REQUIREMENTS
An Associate degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred with 1-2 years of hands-on HR experience. Should have a good understanding of human resources practices and procedures. Must be proficient in Word (business letters), Excel (formulas, format cells, create forms). Must be able to navigate and utilize the Internet effectively. Must have the aptitude and ability to work with UltiPro and other HR based software packages. Candidates should also possess exceptional customer service and communication skills plus a willingness to go beyond the norm to assist our employees in a positive and effective manner. Must work well with the HRIC, Regional Human Resources Managers and Corporate Human Resources teams. Must be highly organized, possess great attention to detail, and have the ability to multi-task in an extremely fast paced environment
