Human Resource Manager 2494

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the incumbent will be responsible for the recruitment of top talent, training and development, as well as general HRM duties and responsibilities for this growing company. Growth has been the key word at this privately held non-union company over the last couple years and along with growth comes the need for talent. The key initiative in recruitment will be to build a network to attract and retain key employees with graphic arts, web development, writing, and project management experience. Training and development will include cross training programs to increase staff flexibility, staff leadership and supervisor training seminars. With satellite facilities across the mid-west and up and down the eastern seaboard, the ability to communicate across a broad geography will be paramount for this individuals success in this organization. Lastly this person will be tasked with working with the VP of Human Resources in the area of researching new benefits policies, development of human resource strategies, and succession planning.
REQUIREMENTS
This company is looking for an experienced HR professional with a minimum of 7 years of HRM experience. Maybe someone who has been in a leadership role for a smaller company looking for a step up? Or maybe someone who has run a HR division for a larger company that still possesses a broad range of skills? A Bachelor's Degree is a MUST HAVE REQUIREMENT. Additional advanced education would be a plus. Knowledge of employment law and human resource policies are a must, as is the ability to utilize a computer for word processing and spreadsheet applications. Relationship building, communication skills and analytical thinking are three key attributes of the right individual.

This position offers a competitive salary, a company based bonus program, solid benefits and upward mobility.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000
Bonus: 0-5%
