Deloitte Consulting has a career opportunity for an ambitious Communication Consultant/Senior Consultant for its Communication Consulting practice in the Southeast Region. The Employee Communication group is a service area within our Human Capital Total Rewards Consulting Practice, which helps organizations meet their financial, operational, and cultural goals through people.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Client Activities
Support the drafting of strategic communication plans and campaigns addressing global human resources, benefits, compensation, and change management issues.
Assist with projects from initial client meetings and concept development through writing, review, production, distribution and evaluation; develop project work plans, budgets and schedules.
Develop a broad range of communication materials for a variety of audiences using multiple communication channels, including: print, multi-media, web.
Develop strategy, select appropriate media, and craft key messages.
Work with designers and senior staff to develop graphic identities and approaches, and select/manage relationships with outside vendors for design, production and distribution needs.
Attend sales meetings, assess needs, support development of proposals and fee estimates,
and participate in presentations.
Oversee staff to coordinate copy workflow from communication review, proofreading and technical review, through design and production.
Internal Activities
Keep abreast of technical aspects of benefits field and communication trends. Participate in outside targeted industry organizations
Juggle multiple assignments and schedule workload to meet established deadlines
Work with senior staff to manage practice and assist in staff development
Assist with practice development activities
Participate in making presentations to other functional groups within the firm and engage in eminence building activities for the practice
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors and/or Masters degree in English, journalism or communications
Strong creative writing, editing, organizational, strategic planning and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team environment
demonstrating both leadership and participant skills
5-7 years of related work experience (employee communication, benefit communication, or other writing experience)
Presentation experience and understanding of online, print and video process helpful
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
