We are a Global Solutions Provider in the area of Flavors & Fragrances and Botanical Extracts to leading Food, Beverage, Personal Care and Household Product Firms. Summary:Human Resources Assistant reports to the H.R. Director and is responsible for the administration support of day- to day Human Resources operations as well as general office administrative duties. In this position, the H.R. Assistant must have a high degree of integrity; ability to maintain confidentiality at all times combined with excellent communication skills and be Bi-lingual, Bi-literate English/ Spanish. Primary HR Assistant Functions:
Create and maintain employees files
Assist with keeping in compliance with local, state & federal laws
Assist with record keeping, documentation and reporting
Assist with benefit administration & workers compensation claim management
Maintain FMLA & COBRA processing for all employees
Provide information to employees with questions on benefits, attendance etc.
Perform daily filing as needed
Perform clerical functions, letters, memos, update bulletin boards, answer phones
Assist with other administrative functions relating to Human Resources and Safety
Assist with FSA, 401-K, EEO audits
Work with anniversary awards, annual picnic and Christmas party
Provide administrative support for VP’s manufacturing & R/D as needed
Other assignments as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Required Education:
At least two years college including courses in human resources management.Required Experience:
At least two years administrative or human resources experience.HR Assistant Qualifications / Requirements:
Bi-lingual, Bi-literate English/Spanish
Excellent communication skills
People Person
Computer literate using various software applications( MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
Able to handle confidential information with sensitivity
Team Player
Good phone ethics
