HRS006 HR Generalist

Bard Peripheral Vascular, Inc. is one of six divisions of C. R. Bard, Inc. For almost 100 years, C. R. Bard, Inc. has committed its resources to creating innovative products and services that meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients.
The HR Generalist will provide generalist support in the administration of human resources functions in the areas of compensation, benefits, employment, employee relations, and/or training. Coordinates and conducts interviews for the hourly workforce and understands and responds to benefit related questions at all levels. Performs benefit and new employee orientations. Responsible for the processing of payroll time & attendance and maintaining of HR reports including turnover and FMLA documentation.

Accurately process bi-weekly payroll time & attendance for non-exempt employees. Responsible for all FMLA related inquiries and tracking of FMLA documentation and calendar. Prepare HR monthly reports; i.e. turnover, sales openings, etc. Supports HR Managers through the use of ICIMS (recruitment software). Acts as administrator of company wellness programs. Accurately track vacation and PTO usage for all employees. Conducts new hire orientation training. Responsible for accurate and timely data entry, and maintenance of HRIS. Assist HR professionals by responding to general HR questions, and resolving basic HR and employee related problems and concerns for all levels of employees. Performs duties in the processing and maintaining of HR reports, forms and files utilizing knowledge of office skills and HR policies, procedures, and practices. Lead assigned Employee Committees. Assist HR professionals with various projects. Maintains employee files and HR records.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

A Bachelors degree or 3-5 years of comparable experience working with employee compensation, benefits, employment, employee relations, and/or training. Experience in Microsoft office applications including Excel and Word. Proficiency in PeopleSoft HRIS applications highly desirable. PHR/SPHR Desired.

SKILLS:

Proficient in the use of PCs, including document and spreadsheet applications. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency through the handling of multiple assignments and prioritizing workload with minimal supervision. Able to handle non-routine situations. Good "follow-through" capabilities. Maintain confidentiality in daily tasks.
