Job DescriptionJob Description:Coordinate T&D activities that include but are not limited to: Training course schedules, and communication with employees via email and through Shaw University Course/class logistics (location, schedule, supervisor approvals, pre- and post-class test results, attendance rosters, end-of-class satisfaction surveys, training materials, facilities, refreshments/meals, travel, etc.) Enter and maintain all E&C business unit training records within Shaw University Reports Fulfill reporting requirements for training administration using Shaw University system (supporting business line managers, as well as state and federal "external" funding report requirements) Create and produce scheduled and ad-hoc training reports as defined by the Training Manager Migrate current training records being maintained by admins throughout much of E&C into Shaw University Serve as a help-desk function and added liaison between Shaw's T&D and E&C employees Assist employees in securing approved training Help managers with T&D information when they call Work with the T&D Manager to analyze, prioritize and identify training needs to facilitate skills development. Help the T&D Manager create and maintain T&D accounting and budget forecasting for E&C Monitor and report on the progress of Shaw E&C's Training and Development training goalsWork with Shaw´s ISD/Materials Manager to update and control course material including manuals, job aids, student handouts, simulations and training exercises when applicable.Strong work experience handling multiple projects. Must be able to "change directions" very quickly to adapt to our growing/changing company.Personal Skills: excellent organizational skills ability to act with initiative, tact and maturity focus on identifying and addressing clients' needs ability to work with all levels of employees from laborer to executiveRequirements:B.A. or B.S. or equivalent - with at least 3 years of experience. Experience in planning / coordinating training classes for a large employer. Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office - Outlook, Excel (including charts and graphs), Power Point, and Word. The ideal candidate will have a general familiarity with adult learning theory and Kirkpatrick's Levels of EvaluationJob Conditions/Environment:Normal office environment. HR Training Coordinator 1

Job Description: Coordinate T&D activities that include but are not limited to:



Training course schedules, and communication with employees via email and through Shaw University


Course/class logistics (location, schedule, supervisor approvals, pre- and post-class test results, attendance rosters, end-of-class satisfaction surveys, training materials, facilities, refreshments/meals, travel, etc.)


Enter and maintain all E&C business unit training records within Shaw University


Reports


Fulfill reporting requirements for training administration using Shaw University system (supporting business line managers, as well as state and federal "external" funding report requirements)


Create and produce scheduled and ad-hoc training reports as defined by the Training Manager


Migrate current training records being maintained by admins throughout much of E&C into Shaw University


Serve as a help-desk function and added liaison between Shaw's T&D and E&C employees


Assist employees in securing approved training


Help managers with T&D information when they call


Work with the T&D Manager to analyze, prioritize and identify training needs to facilitate skills development.


Help the T&D Manager create and maintain T&D accounting and budget forecasting for E&C
