HR Representative

Garden Ridge is currently seeking a part-time Human Resources Representative to work in our Distribution Center in Dallas, Texas. The HR Representative is responsible for ensuring accurate information is submitted for payroll, assists with benefits administration, performance management, record keeping , coordinating recruitment efforts and assists managers with meeting staffing needs. Additionally, this position is responsible for identifying employee relations issues and will partner in investigations.
REQUIREMENTS


The Human Resources Representative position requires 1-4 years HR experience, preferably in a distribution, warehouse or manufacturing environment. Candidates must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels within an organization, able to identify priorities, have a strong attention to detail, knowledgeable in HR related laws and regulations and be fluent in English and Spanish.

Preferred candidates will have an Associate’s or a Bachelor’s degree and
excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technical skills required include proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
