HR Regional Executive

This position is the primary HR partner and senior HR generalist/consultant to the executive team of National City Mortgage. The HR Relationship Manager will develop HR strategies and related action plans while implementing best practices to support key business management issues. The HR Relationship Manager will serve as primary liaison between Corporate HR subject matter experts and the NCM executive team.

The ideal candidate will effectively balance the following roles:
oAs a Business Partner, the HR Relationship Manager will serve as integral part of the leadership team at the business and market level, and have shared accountability for business outcomes.

oAs an HR Strategist and Solution Provider, the HR Relationship Manager will identify the human capital implications of the business strategy. He/she will anticipate client's needs and deliver HR solutions that enable the execution of the business strategy.

oAs a Coach and Trusted Advisor, the HR Relationship Manager will coach business partners in effective leadership, talent and performance management.

oAs an HR Advocate, the HR Relationship Manager will be able to link HR processes, structure (i.e., LOB, Centers of Excellence, etc.), and programs to supporting business outcomes. He/she will champion HR initiatives and processes in a credible way.

The HR Relationship Manager also manages (directly or indirectly) a staff of professionals responsible for delivery of the full range of HR services at a local level, including staffing, employee relations, compensation, performance management, diversity management, succession planning, leadership development, and local program support, such as Excel. The HR Relationship Manager in coordination with Corporate HR, sets strategic and tactical direction of the NCM HR unit, to support clients' business objectives.
Job Requirements
10+ years of human resources management experience, including broad knowledge of employment law, compliance, recruiting strategies, employee relations, and compensation design.

Lending/Mortgage & industry specific experience is desired.
