POSITION SCOPEThis position develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESExperience in developing and maintaining a human resources system that meets top management information needsExperience in analyzing wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.Ability to consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state lawAbility to conduct exit interviewsAdministers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issuesAbility to handle confidential information in strict confidence and with great sensitivity
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESAssesses and evaluates departmental needs3-5 years human resources experience as a HR Generalist.Effective problem solving skillsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsRefined oral and written communication skills and listening skillsEducation: Bachelors required.
Computer Knowledge Requirements: MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook preferred.
