HR Director
Develops and implement effective Human Resources strategies to support overall business objectives including organizational design, change management, employee relations, employee training and development, compensation, benefits, EEO, personnel records, talent acquisition and retention strategies, succession planning, leadership & team development and effective communications
- Designs/develops compensation programs, policies, practices and procedures to support the needs of the business and employees
- Provides compensation consulting to managers/supervisors and HR, including compensation communication and education/training
- Works with management team to define and forecast staffing plans. Develops cost effective strategies recruiting, while retaining top talent
- Establish effective policies, practices and procedures to support the needs of the organization. Develop and implement retention programs
- Work with the HR team to oversee organizational development, performance management, employee relations, benefits and HRIS/ESS
- Acts as an advisor on human resources issues to other executives and all level of employees throughout the company
- May serve as a trustee, plan administrator, and fiduciary for certain benefit programs
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources
REQUIREMENTS
8 - 10 years of broad-based HR experience, with management level experience.
- Experience in developing creative and strategic HR programs that work. Take the hands on initiative to drive and manage their implementation
- Ability to research and resolve compensation issues
- Has ability and interest to contribute to business operation and strategy discussions.
- Very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational consulting and communication skills (oral and written) are required
- Strong process orientation
- Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving
- Ability to provide vision and leadership
- Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment, while building credibility
- Strong business acumen and business partnering skills
- Must be innovative, creative and results oriented. Must be able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities
- Experience supporting Human Resources in a global environment is desired.
