Leveraging Unisys 3D Visible Enterprise, we make visible the impact of their decisions – ahead of investments, opportunities and risks.Job Category: Human ResourcesKey Responsibilities: This position is located in Carlstadt, NJ.Primary Human resources professional responsible for a mostly non-exempt, 24 x 7 check processing facility. Act as the "stand-along" generalist with support from other HR professionals in similar roles at different locations.Handle crisis, employee relations, and mentoring/coaching line management on HR policy and procedures. Work with Unisys global recruiting to fill vacancies and temporary staff augmentation through third-party staffing organizations.Other duties include:Interfaces with management teams, business partners and consultants to understand overall business objectives and apply business solutions to enhance operational performance.Works with the appropriate resources to implement solutions and initiatives in line with Unisys policies, practices and procedures in order to sustain competitive advantage.Provides advice and guidance to line management on a broad range of human resource policies, programs and practices, to ensure that that these are fully understood and effectively implemented within the operating unit.Answers routine questions and inquiries from employees relating to the various HR specialty areas, such as compensation and benefits, and facilitates client service by researching answers and following up with employees if the answer is not immediately available. Helps organizations utilize self-service and e-HR solutions to enhance effectiveness and productivity.Orchestrates activities in the operating unit to ensure that all human resource related commitments are maintained; serves as a focal point, so that the client has a single point of contact and accountability.In addition to the executing programs and practices, is involved in the development and customization of local and global HR solutions, which will help sustain and grow the business.

Undergraduate college degree or equivalent is required. Professional certification is desirable.Ideally needs a track record of working within the HR function. Experience/exposure of working outside of the function is also desirable.Must possess the required functional skills, as well as consulting skills.Experience in project management and co-ordination of multiple internal and external resources is also desired.Needs to understand business issues, the competitive environment and their implications for human resource management.Key Metrics
