Business Unit: GE Industrial, Advanced MaterialsFunction: Human ResourcesResponsibilities: This Global Staffing Manager position will have overall responsibility for partnering with the Human Resources team for Advanced Materials to develop and manage all staffing and recruitment processes, industry benchmarking, targeted recruitment campaigns, and reporting and analysis.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Gather specific customer needs related to recruitment & staffing. Work closely with Pole HR Managers and Business Leaders to develop ongoing staffing plans and processes to support P&L business strategy.
Develop and maintain global staffing metrics; provide staffing reports as needed to HR and business leadership.
Build and maintain relationships partnering with industry and trade organizations, colleges/universities, recruiters, and diverse talent sources to develop pipeline for future staffing needs.
Manage search firm relationships to ensure strategic use and cost effective contracts to address recruitment needs.
Organize & coordinate special events, print & media marketing, search firm & association relationships to promote key open positions or key staffing initiatives.
Support the HR and business teams with training, presentations, and data gathering to optimize process execution and to meet ongoing staffing requirements.
Provide "dotted line" leadership to Europe and Asia staffing resources to ensure sharing of best practices and that applicable global processes and metrics are maintained.
Drive staffing compliance requirements throughout all parts of the staffing process; implement procedures, methods, and controls to ensure that compliance requirements are met and maintained at all times.
Provide direct leadership for Americas based vendor staffing resources.
Own and drive the timely staffing of all Americas based positions with HR, HRS, and vendor staffing resources.
Perform industry research, benchmarking, and trend analysis to support business strategy and forecast future talent needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in a human resources related discipline, business administration, or engineering.
7 years human resources experience including recruitment, employee relations, and strategic planning and project leadership.
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and to manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced business environment.
Demonstrated ability to drive process change/simplification in collaboration.
Organizationally savvy with the ability to build relationships easily.
Outstanding written & verbal communication skills.
Strong business acumen with excellent analytical skills.Eligibility Requirements:
