Global Benefits Coordinator

Purpose: This position is responsible for the administration of existing benefit policies and developing and maintaining relationships with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and vendors in a team driven environment.

Additional Responsibilities:
-Monitors benefit telephone line and e-mail box in an effort to respond to benefits-related questions from staff and attorneys.
-Assists in settlement of claim disputes.
-Processes enrollments, terminations, and status changes for all health and welfare programs.
-Processes paperwork for new-hires, terminations, and qualified status changes.
-Maintains carrier on-line eligibility system for health and dependent care flexible spending accounts; reconciles flexible spending account reports.
-Performs data entry of all benefit information into HRIS.
-Coordinates with other staff members to maintain organized and updated employee files.
-Coordinates and facilitates firm-wide annual enrollment in a team driven environment.
-Assists with special projects on various benefit issues as needed.


Required Qualifications:
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements:

Three (3) years Employee Benefits administration experience desired.
-Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions of all US health and welfare plans to ensure the proper administration by insurers and vendors.
-Knowledge of compensation and benefits practices.
-Well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm.
-Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
-Organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize ffectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
-Knowledge and proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office.
