GENERALIST- Human Resources

Job Description
This critical HR Business Partner role is responsible for the enhancement and further development of business alliances and/or relationships surrounding the HR Partners program. This individual will broker HR services enterprise-wide. Provides strategic HR support and consultation to designated NHO department HR client groups. Creates programs and services to support overall People Resources Team strategy. Coordinates the successful marketing and execution of HR Partners Program activities. Responsible for collaboratively developing HR/People Resource related-objectives and implementation strategies with NHO departments. Assists NHO departments in the accomplishment of specified HR-related goals. Develops and maintains alliances with other NHO business units. Participates with other HR section members on collaborative goals as needed. Seeks out developmental opportunities for personal growth and contribution to the organization. Effectively collaborate with the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer and Talent Management staff on strategy implementation efforts. Provides guidance and support to all People Resources Team subparts (employee relations and policy; training and organization development; recruitment and selection) Supports external HR collaborations. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in related field (MBA or JD Preferred) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven expertise in the development and implementation of HR-related strategies and programs. Excellent relationship management and customer service skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Proven experience in the development and/or management of business plan development, strategic planning, leadership and staff development, problem-solving skills, process development and implementation skills. Very strong written and oral presentation skills (writing sample may be requested). Computer skills to include Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. The ability to travel by car or airplane when necessary.
