Develop, coordinate and execute a successful recruiting program for experienced level candidates for the Tax Practice. Meets with key practice leaders to determine strategic hiring goals for fiscal year. Source and screen candidates using internet sites and other methodology. Schedule office visits and interviews for experienced hire candidates. Coordinate experience hire activities and events and
maintain the Candidate Tracking System. Perform special projects as necessary. The position often faces unique situations that require significant judgment and ingenuity to develop strategies and firm goals.
- Assess recruiting needs and develop sourcing strategy to target outstanding candidate
- Coordinate recruiting activities and events to increase the firm's visibility and assist in attracting high quality candidates;
Perform other tasks and special projects as required or assigned by functional leadershipKey Responsibilities:
- Source candidates through various mechanisms (direct, internet, referrals, research, relationships, etc.)
- Coordinate recruitment process for candidates at consultant through senior manager levels.
- Manage some or all of recruiting/hiring process which includes:
o Create job specifications
o Source candidates for respective industry/service areas
o Communicate needs to staff to
generate referrals/leads
o Create/place advertisements - job postings
o Prescreen candidates for all levels up to the partner/principal and firm director level
o Coordinate interviewing teams and schedules
o Follow up on open issues - employee referrals
o Negotiate compensation
o Ensure information is properly maintained for reporting purposes
o Support immigration process
Functional/Industry Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting for a large firm - preferably professional services
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment required
- Ability to implement successful experienced hire recruiting programs.
- Knowledge of key recruiting craft skills, including various sourcing, candidate selection, selling and negotiating techniques, as well as candidate management systems (RecruitSoft)
- Ability to operate efficiently and
effectively within a matrix, geographically dispersed organization.
- Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Ability to interview and assess appropriate potential hires
- Good organizational skills
- Some knowledge of industry and technology trends, compensation and benefits
- Knowledge of skill sets of various practice areas.
- Ability to effectively work with other people and be collaborative, cross-functional and diplomatic.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and conditions.
- Ability to work with support staff; administrative and coordinators.
- Ability to interact and interface with most levels within the firm.
- Negotiating skills
- Proficient in office computer software/systems (MSOffice, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, candidate tracking systems)
