Employee Relations Manager

The Associate Relations Manager is responsible for Human Resources leadership as well as in the partnering efforts with leadership throughout the organization to plan, design and execute company-wide initiatives, business strategies and programs. Responsible for working with management to ensure we have optimal resources available to meet business objectives. Advises and coaches leaders on associate relations activities. Provides policy and procedure implementation, compensation assistance, associate communication, benefits, associate acquisition and retention, legal compliance and staff development for assigned locations. Provides direction interpretation and support to HR leadership in the implementation of company-wide initiatives, policies and procedures.


Responsibilities


- Serves as an ambassador of the Company's Dynamic Organization vision and drives culture survey efforts within assigned geographic territory/locations.

Facilitates development and implementation of organizational and HR strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.

Actively partners with leadership to establish strategic direction for the business, including identification of organizational development needs and overall alignment of human resources systems to achieve business results

Ensures the integrity of our performance management system and monitors the development of associates to meet client and organizational goals.

Actively participates in and executes company-wide initiatives and completes special projects as assigned by immediate manager and the HR Leadership

Addresses associate questions related to Human Resources policies and procedures, benefit and compensation programs and other concerns related to the workplace.

Actively partners with leaders to effectively resolve associate issues in a proactive, fair and legal manner and proactively engages in activities as an associate advocate.

Improves our competitive advantage by providing expertise and assistance with company acquisition and divestiture activities as needed.

Manages outside vendors supporting local and company-wide initiatives as needed.
Researches best practices; implements and manages ongoing projects to address associate relations and retention issues.

Recommends and implements policies and programs necessary to retain key associates and minimize turnover.

Reviews, recommends improvements, and administers compensation and incentive bonus programs.

Supports and executes affirmative action program and efforts to create a diversified, quality workforce.

Provides Human Resources related training to leaders and front line associates.

Provides coaching and development to staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


- Bachelor's Degree required; Masters preferred.

5-7 years of broad, progressively more complex HR experience, such as generalist and recruitment, is required.

HR project leadership required.

Proven leadership skills.

HR Certification preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.

Strong working knowledge of employment law required.

PC literacy required, preferably in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience working with a Human Resources Information System required
