As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will server as a primary resource for Performance Management. You will provide management with coaching on the appropriate Performance Management process and protocol required to help optimize overall employee and business performance. You will provide direct, relevant coaching and feedback to managers relative to their overall effectiveness versus stated managerial competencies. This coaching is to be in one-on-on, as well as in team, and business meeting settings. You will work with Senior Management in identifying and resolving issues. You will coach line management in the areas of overall performance feedback consistency, and overall employee planning within their respective areas of responsibility. You will ensure on-going management engagement in those areas that directly impact organization effectiveness, cultural indicators, change management, etc. You will manage the end-to-end process for Employee Relations investigations/case management. You will prepare investigation reports, management summaries, and any appropriate follow-up communications and documents to managers and employees involved. Documentation preparation will include manager memos, communications, with employees relative to process steps, outcomes and consequences; formal disciplinary notices; formal position statements; etc. You will conduct data analysis on key business indicators, including: employee turnover, voluntary resignations, manager performance coaching for employees, etc. You will optimize the utilization of the current Employee Relations database; conduct exit interviews with employees in a timely manger; and analyze data to discern leading causes for voluntary turnover. You will develop reliable methodology and/or alternative proposals for gathering and analyzing appropriate data that informs management about retention and turnover issues in a more proactive manner. You will plan an important role in diagnosing the education and training needs in the organization relative to Employee Relations issues, and their root causes. You will provide specific support to management in the delivery of Civil Treatment, Code of Conduct, Sexual Harassment, and other business policy compliance sessions. You will provide general human resources support to the organization in the areas of management training, policy interpretation, and compliance. You will respond to benefits questions in a manner that helps to ensure consistent application of the Company's policies and programs across the sales organization. You will work to ensure the timely and accurate execution of HR transactions and programs (including EAN processing, Salary Planning, Performance Evaluations, Performance Improvement Plan progression, etc.).
This position requires a BS in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources; an advance degree (MBA/MS in HR or Psychology) is preferred. Must have at least 7 years HR Generalist experience, with at least 5 years experience with employee relations responsibilities. Must be able to handle multiple assignments, and possess excellent platform, written, and oral communication skills. Should have experience in all areas of HR, with specific emphasis in Employee relations; must have a working knowledge of government regulations (e.g. EEO/AAP EEOC Compliance, ADA, etc.). Experience in conflict resolution is required.
