EMPLOYMENT ADMINISTRATOR
Summary
Recruitment of exempt, non-exempt and operations-related positions commensurate with company culture, policies and strategic plans and regulatory requirements. Experience in recruiting for all levels of the company in finance, sales, product management, finance, accounting, supply chain operations and various non-exempt positions. Manage the staffing of open and approved operations-related positions in order to maximize business potential and achieve organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities
Ø Manage selection process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and successful placements in support of Company culture and strategic plans.
- Define candidate qualifications and position requirements through discussion with managers.
- Identify and implement recruitment plan.
- Prepare staffing requisition, partner with hiring manager to define job description, post internally, advertise, review resumes, and conduct phone screen.
- Select and schedule candidates to interview; coordinate travel arrangements if necessary.
- Interview and evaluate candidate and, if applicable, work with manager on job offer. Conduct pre-employment process.
- Develop & Execute Candidate Sourcing & Marketing Strategies: e.g., database research, cold calling, networking, referral solicitation, Internet research, source active & passive candidates
Ø Interview internal candidates and advise status of application and selection process.
Ø Establish and/or maintain positive employee relations to promote Company culture and open communications.
- Communicate Company policies.
- Discuss career goals, education, and performance issues with employees.
- Advise managers of potential solutions regarding recruiting, staffing, and employee issues.
Ø Actively seek to improve efficiency of recruitment efforts:
- Expand recruiting initiatives (i.e. job fairs, Internet, new recruiting agencies, minority agencies) and maintain those external relationships.
- Continually investigate ways to reduce recruitment costs, to shorten time to fill positions without sacrificing candidate quality and service to employees or managers and to measure efficiency of recruitment process.
- Create/maintain recruiting measures.
Ø Remain current on Company's HR policies; recommend changes as appropriate.
Ø Recruit, assign and reallocate production employees to ensure workforce needs are met.
Ø Compile, analyze and present to management the monthly, quarterly and annual contingent workforce metrics (e.g., turnover, fill rates, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement in achieving pre-determined goals and to determine improvement opportunities.
Ø Assist with selection and management of contingent workforce agencies to supplement production workforce needs.
Ø Collaborate with management in establishing and defining service agreement expectations of contingent agencies.
Ø Work closely with production management to stay abreast of employment and scheduling issues (e.g., production levels and factory efficiencies in relation to the regular and contingent workforce headcounts).
Ø Conduct recruitment and selection process for operations-related exempt and nonexempt salaried positions.
Ø Manage Company's new-hire orientation process.
Ø Conduct background checks on all new hires; review results for adherence to policy.
REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 0%Ø Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
Ø Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Staffing and sourcing positions at all levels.
Ø Superior research and Internet skills.
Ø Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ø Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate positive communications with all levels of personnel.
Ø Conscientious with ability to work with confidential information.
Ø Good with detail; timeliness and accuracy of information is essential.
Ø Effective decision-making and problem resolution.
Ø Solid organizational skills; effective problem resolution.
Ø Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ø Demonstrated experience in analyzing staffing metrics.
Ø Working knowledge of employment laws for the manufacturing environment.
