Division Human Resources Manager

Manages, coordinates and oversees the activities of a Human Resources department to include employment, employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, training, records and employee services. Assists top management in complex planning, development, implementation and evaluation activities. May serve as the site/division human resources manager at a stand-alone facility supporting HR management or as a business unit HR project coordinator for specialized initiatives. Manage, coordinate and oversee the activities of a Human Resource department. Attend and participate in management meetings to provide advice and guidance on interpretation of personnel policies as they relate to individuals and business unit or department objectives. Responsible for business unit compliance with human resource legislation, including but not limited to AAP, EEOC, ADA, and FLSA legislation. Responsible for recruitment and selection of all exempt and non-exempt personnel.
Coordinate the development of business unit incentive plans and alternative reward programs. Work with Compensation department to ensure plan documents are developed to describe the plan and its benefits to the Company. Assist business unit in organizational planning. Determine position needs and ensure adequate job documentation is completed. Maintain a current knowledge of associated laws and regulations in the Human Resources management area. Establish and maintain an effective network of contacts with Human Resources managers in other companies in the industries and locations in which the Company operates. Create, coordinate and develop materials to promote the capabilities, objectives and values of the Company to current and prospective employees to include the development of newsletters and other forms of employee communications. Manage key HR projects and initiatives that have strategic and/or wide organizational impact. Ensure compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk, in accordance with Company and regulatory standards. Complete other related duties as assigned and provide management direction to foster effective selection, development and reward of subordinates while contributing to initiatives in support of the Company’s Diversity programs.

job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of seven years proven human resources experience, or equivalent; management experience preferred
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
Strong managerial, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision making, problem-solving, negotiation and verbal and written communication skills
