Director of Patient Advocacy
Washington County Hospital is seeking candidates for the Director of Patient Advocacy vacancy. This position serves as an interpretive liaison between patients and the institution. Responsible for coordinating the efforts of the hospital to address the health care concerns of consumers; acts as facilitator in implementing changes that improve inpatient and outpatient services. Requires working across interdepartmental lines while maintaining a close communication with Risk Management and Quality Improvement departments.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Services or related field required. Minimum of five years experience in a health care setting, including direct public contact required; patient care delivery experience preferred. Must possess strong problem solving ability and excellent written and oral communication skills.
