Director, Salaried Staffing

POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Salaried Staffing will direct and support the internal and external search process for salaried positions to ensure the availability of qualified candidates to fill current or planned openings. Responsibilities include creating or enhancing processes to assist in the strategic recruitment and succession planning needed to achieve company goals for growth and profitability. This position will also direct the College Intern and Executive Development programs. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Manages internal and external search processes for salaried positions to ensure the availability of qualified candidates to fill current or planned openings.
•Manage an Executive Recruitment Staff consisting of: Sr. Manager; Manager, College Relations; and two Staffing Specialists.
•Participates in the Human Capital planning process to develop appropriate recruitment strategies to meet staffing needs. Utilizes all available resources, including traditional advertisements, Internet technology, career fairs, search firms and direct sourcing to meet staffing requirements within recruitment budget parameters.
•Provides support and counsel to salaried employees and managers to achieve efficient and successful placements.
•Ensures consistency and fairness in Recruitment and Staffing actions and policies. Participates in responding to any current or former employee's claims against the company related to terms and conditions of employment.
•Participates in the development and implementation of Human Resources programs which follow the strategic direction of the organization and the Human Resources division.
•Supports the tracking and reporting of benchmarking data related to department's functional responsibilities. Accountable for staying abreast of trends and emerging practices within the Human Resources field through self-study, association memberships and by seeking out and attending professional development programs.
