Requirements:
Leads the development, delivery and administration of employer sponsored pension products for the Institutional segment in a manner to minimize cost and maximize efficient operations.
Directs the overall management of operations and oversight of distribution of transactions between sites and teams.
Coordinates with Pension Product Quality, Compliance, Product Development and other areas to optimize product delivery.
Serves as business knowledge expert and key advisor on complex projects within the business unit while providing advice on methods, tools, alternative solutions, etc. Work well in translating business requirements to technical resources in supporting project.
Maintains SOX, SAS70, and ERISA a regulatory controls & standards.
Effectively and efficiently administers the performance management and talent management process as well as individual performance evaluations.
Partners with stakeholders to develop suitable sourcing strategies for TIAA-CREF (not sure what this means).
Communicates with internal and external customers, leveraging superior writing, editing, analytical, and negotiation skills to strengthen ongoing relationships and resolve complex customer service problems.
Works with the senior management on meeting the current and long-range operational objectives, plans and policies of Pension.
Develops staff by conducting skills assessment, identifying cross-training needs, providing periodic performance evaluations ad on-going feedback, succession planning, coaching, facilitation of quality improvements teams, and participation in staff acquisition.[DEL: :DEL]
Makes recommendations to the others in executive management to improve operational work flow, process improvement and re-design, compliance, internal controls, cost control and revenue enhancement functions, if appropriate
Generates enthusiasm and commitment to the organizational mission through articulate project team communications. Work across a multitude of business partners including users, technology, training, communications, compliance/risk, etc.
Continually improves operations through effective coaching and development of management team. Provide leadership to line management of operations to ensure adherence to prescribed levels of productivity, accuracy, customer service, compliance and controls.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:10+ years of progressive leadership experience in TIAA-CREF and/or Operations which includes but not limited too project management, succession planning, change leadership, multi-site leadership, performance management and strategic leadership experiences.
Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses; or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date.
Demonstrated successful leadership ability.
Ability to build relationships and work successfully with individuals at varying levels and from different areas of the organization by demonstrating integrity and respect for others.
Experience in coaching and developing a strong leadership team.
Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus and/or get others to buy-in to the vision.
Demonstrated technical and professional expertise in the Pension Operations function.
College degree is required. MBA or comparable business experience is preferred.
Successful OMNI leadership and integration experience a plus.
