Manage the implementation of approved employee relations' policies and practices, providing professional and technical assistance to Product Supply (PS) leadership.
Position the Supply Chain function in a highly competitive marketplace as an "Employer of Choice" through the design and development of contemporary human resource programs and practices that facilitate preference in the marketplace.
Ensure broad HR support to various departments, including but not limited to, recruitment and retention, staffing and orientation, compensation planning, training and development, employee coaching/counseling/performance management, and assisting in the development of succession planning.
Responsible for overall management of HR programs within the PS groups, including but not limited to, EEO, unemployment, AAP, litigation, retention, termination, turnover, and severance issues. May conduct difficult employee counseling sessions regarding EEO charges, ADA, performance and termination.
Develop, recommend, and implement approved programs and policies to ensure enhancement and acceptance of diversity and proper EEO/AAP legal compliance.
Implementing employee relations' practices and policies and providing highly competitive positioning within the consumer packaged goods industry and other related industries.
Coaching/advising management on effective ways to administer HR programs and manage employee issues.
Assisting and providing counsel on organization design and development as most organizations individual will be supporting are in "build out".
Facilitating with staffing organization and the business partners recruitment pipeline for current openings and future needs.
Implementing training and development processes for needs assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitoring and staying abreast of employee relations trends and practices.
Protecting ConAgra Food's interest while complying with government regulations, communicating awareness of the legal implications of all personnel actions.
Implementing timely management systems to enhance HR process effectiveness.Degree in business administration or related degree or equivalent years of experience. Masters degree in Business or Organizational Development preferred.
SPHR/PHR preferred.
Minimum of 8-12 years of solid Human Resource generalist experience supporting supply chain, transportation, warehousing and/or manufacturing.
Solid Organizational Design and Development to assist in "build out", restructuring, downsizing and redesign of organizations.
Excellent knowledge of ERISA, EEOC and DOL regulations, employment sourcing, communications, human relations, and management skills.
Solid understanding of benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task are required.
Strong business partnership experience is essential to the success of this role.
