DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL SERVICES – EASY CARE™
We are Enhanced Care Initiatives, Inc. (ECI), is a specialty care management company with an approach that has a unique focus and depth of application. Our focus is on the top 1 to 2 % of a chronically ill population that has multiple co-morbidities and the highest costs from year to year. ECI’s systems rapidly improve the health status of those individuals and, in so doing, decrease the need for hospitalizations, thus controlling current and future costs. We are currently expanding our Easy Care™ Program in the Boston, MA market and are looking for dynamic individuals to join our growing team.We are looking for a Director of Clinical Services to lead our team in the Boston, Massachusetts Easy Care™ Program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join one of the most dynamic and fastest growing leaders in the healthcare industry.The successful candidate will work in collaboration with key ECI management team members, assume all responsibilities of the Easy Care™ clinical services for the Massachusetts area, and ensure integrity and quality for our patients and client relationships.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Coordinates all clinical elements of ECI’s Easy Care™ Program
•Assures compliance of all local, state and federal laws•Collaborates with area Operations Manager to achieve financial goals by establishing objectives, following budgetary constraints, controlling costs, and maximizing use of assets
•Acts as agent of ECI with contracting payer
•Serves as a liaison between local care management staff and ECI administrative team exchanging information and identifying problems or needs related to clinical activity
•Collaborates with area Medical Director to establish presence and connectivity in the community
•Works in partnership with Easy Care™ consultants to promote seamless delivery of services
•Oversees the enrollment of patients into the program for care management
•Shares responsibility with Operations Manager in the recruitment process for clinical staff positions
•Ensures optimal clinical outcomes by promoting and adhering to quality standards of care
•Shares responsibility with Operations Manager for all levels of satisfaction (patient, physician, employee, payer, etc)
•Supervises and implements the clinical elements of the CQI process, working with the Operations Manager to provide concurrent reports to key management team members
•Provides administrative oversight for clinical staff with day to day services
•Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
•Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse (Masters Degree Preferred)
•Current Nurse Practitioner/RN State Licensure and State/Federal Certifications, ACLS or BLS Certification
•Minimum of 5–10 years of clinical healthcare experience with strong professional knowledge and clinical assessment skills in a high-risk adult population
•Proficient in the management of chronic disease•Extensive supervision and budgetary knowledge
•Documented business/leadership experience working with professional healthcare teams
•Strong research, analytical, and project management skills•Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with many different audiences•Proficient in computer programs (Microsoft Office, Internet, Outlook, etc)
