Job Skills/Requirements
As a Contract Recruiter for the Health Management Solutions Divisions of SHPS Inc., you will be responsible for the recruitment of experienced staff for our Clinical Operations, IT, and Client Management organizations. In this role, you will become fully engaged with each hiring organization as you develop and execute recruiting strategies designed to attract and hire top talent into our division. A key staffing focus will be on Registered Nurse recruitment for disease management, case management, utilization management, and telephone triage positions.
Length of Assignment: 3 months
Duties include:
Build a continuous pipeline of high potential professional talent for SHPS
Ensure that the hiring process is efficient, time sensitive, and meets business requirements
Define and execute appropriate sourcing strategies defined by the business needs, to include all internal and external resources available
Assist hiring managers in evaluating candidates, offer negotiation, and overall process troubleshooting
Use existing SHPS resources for recruiting efforts including media ads, electronic boards, contacting referrals and local resources in the appropriate recruiting area; research, target and perform cold-calls for potential candidates
Conduct telephone and in-person screenings, interviews
Present pre-screened candidates to management
Arrange interviews as requested by the hiring manager
Complete background and reference checks, as appropriate
Maintain a focus on diversity hiring
Ensure compliance with EEO/diversity policies
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and Requirements
5+ years professional recruiting experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Prior experience with end-to-end recruitment
Proven ability to identify customer needs, attain their commitment to the process, and to drive the recruitment process
Proficiency in marketing/sourcing techniques to include: cold calling, networking, research, internet, non-traditional media, etc
Demonstrated ability to make cold calls, present opportunities, and to profile the skill sets and motivations of prospective candidates
Ability to market and sell SHPS to experienced hires
Knowledge of behavioral based interviewing techniques
Solid understanding of employment laws and hiring practices
Good oral and written communication skills
Proven computer skills
