Consulting Resources Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Manages the deployment of consulting staff (Serena, independent consultants, subcontractors and partners) to client engagements, SI engagements and internal programs/initiatives. Deployment is defined as the identification and assignment of an appropriate consultant.
2.Manages the sourcing of consulting resources through leveraging internal Serena staff and existing relationships with independent consultants and subcontracting firms, and through direct sourcing of independent consultants. Identify and develop relationships with additional agencies and/or subcontractor firms as needed. Must be able to recruit, interview and qualify candidates. Quality is a focus.
3.Maintains a resource database of consultant skills and availability.
4.Schedules engagements with SC&S Management.
5.Prepares & maintains resource scheduling report outlining resource assignments.
6.Participates in the selection and contracting process for independent contractors and subcontractors; arranges training and shadowing for new contractors.
7.Prepares monthly consultant utilization reports.
8.Prepares monthly Independent Contractor accruals report for Accounting.
9.Prepares monthly Payroll Analysis for Accounting.
10.Manages relationships with subcontractors and independent contractors.
11.Responsible for time and expense database and records management.
12.Responsible for auditing and approving consultant and IC/Sub/Partner resource time and expense reports.
13.Respond to requests for information and make referrals as appropriate.
14.Responsible for interacting with, maintaining and building positive working relationships with: Internal - all levels of SERENA employees; External - when appropriate, customers, contractors, business partners, vendors.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior technical recruiting experience a must. Must be able to build long-term relationships. Strong organizational and negotiation skills required. Must understand urgency and the importance of efficient responsiveness. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize. Requires a strong work ethic, creativity and a teaming personality. Results oriented-must be an impact player with a ‘get it done’ attitude. Excellent communication and people skills a must—must be extremely customer-service oriented. PC literacy with proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Org. Dev., Bus., Comm., Psych., HR, or equivalent required.
