Supervises the design, implementation and administration of compensation programs including salary administration, geographic differentials, cash incentive and supplemental pay programs. Responsible for directing the structure movement, merit and variable pay programs. This position will be responsible for assisting the Manager and Director in establishing and managing the bank’s compensation programs. The Compensation Supervisor will provide direction, supervision and will lead the Compensation Team on all compensation matters. The Compensation Supervisor will incorporate industry best practices and organizational needs in the development of effective compensation programs including:

# Annual Employee and Officer Merit
# Variable Pay Program

The supervisor will ensure that all programs are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure that proper salary surveys are purchased within budget. Manage completion of surveys. Ensure that procedures are documented on how the data was defined. Manage the generation of useful, informative reports designed to effectively communicate business-related information to customers. Ensure that adequate documentation on how each report was generated is completed. Manage all other compensation and related activities as required. Plan the job documentation process. Assist or lead the delivery of “Compensation 101” and the “Year-End Process” Presentations. Educate division and branch coordinators to enhance understanding of compensation policies and procedures. Maintain open communications in order to anticipate compensation needs for the District.
REQUIREMENTS
# 5 years experience in Compensation.
# 1 year managing analyst level employees.
# Proficient in statistical analysis as applied to compensation practices and market analysis.
# Solid knowledge of wage and hour laws, FLSA classifications, and exemption tests.
# Significant experience in determination of salary grades/bands/classifications.
# Expert Excel and Word user.
# Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
# Excellent time management and organization skills.
# Ability to interact with all levels of employees with a positive attitude of customer service.
# Must be able to deal with problems that are very complex, and be able to present possible solutions in a clear, concise format. Presentation skills are a definite plus.
# Prior experience with PeopleSoft 8.44 preferred, but not required.
# Bachelor degree in Business or Human Resources or related field. Masters degree preferred.
# CCP designation preferred, but not required.
# PHR or SPHR certification preferred
