We have an outstanding opportunity for an Advisor, Total Rewards in our WHQ location in Stamford, CT.

The Advisor, Total Rewards will be responsible for:

Developing, analyzing and preparing information in support of the ongoing maintenance and implementation of total reward programs with specific concentration in the area of compensation programs, plans and policies
Provide ongoing research and analytical support relative to special projects such as acquisitions
Respond to ongoing adhoc HR and manager inquiries regarding Total Rewards initiatives.

Additional accountabilities of the position include:

Job Evaluations :

Participates in evaluating new and changing jobs by slotting them against existing comparable jobs as a result of internal benchmarking and external competitiveness. May meet with the line manager and the Human Resources Generalist to gather additional information or insight about a position to be evaluated.
Assist in the maintenance and validation of the job catalog to ensure all jobs are properly classified.
Following approval, prepares and issues formal job evaluation memorandum to manager and Human Resources communicating final determination.

Market Competitiveness:
In support of the Practice Leader, Compensation assists in conducting and participating in salary surveys and researches total reward surveys to determine market trends and practices.
Applies appropriate methods for interpreting data (e.g., statistics, trends and themes from narrative data).
Utilize software packages to analyze large databases.
Provides accurate and detailed compensation analysis in a clear and concise. manner so that the client may readily understand the implications of the analysis being presented.
Highlights observations based on reports and/or compiled data and provides insight around interpreted results.

Client support:
Assist in the merger and acquisition due diligence and integration related analysis.
Support Total Rewards Leadership role in the development of customized solutions to diverse client groups across Pitney Bowes Inc..
May participate, while in an information gathering mode, in client meetings in the absence of a TR leadership person.
Model analysis relative to incentive and recognition programs.
Responds to adhoc client requests.

Compliance and Audit:
Assist in the quality audit and review of all compensation data (salary, incentive, equity) through participation in the annual Total Compensation and/or Anniversary Review Processes.

Researches and applies an understanding of compensation related regulatory provisions to work with appropriate parties in highlighting new issues and ensuring compliance.

Participates in the review of TR Programs as necessary relative to the identification of trends as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field preferred with 2 to 3 years experience in compensation analysis and research.
Strong analytic and interpretive skills
Expertise with Microsoft software applications including Excel, Powerpoint and Word, as well as Human Resources Information Systems required. SAP highly desirable.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
