Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Compensation Analyst to provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including competitive pay, internal equity, MIP administration, stock award determinations and merit increase programs.
Not only will you act as Compensation Consultant to HR Business Partners and Department Managers, your responsibilities will also include annual pay program delivery, market analysis, job evaluation, and compensation program evaluation.
You will play a key role in developing compensation tools, reports and programs needed for business units to manage pay decisions.Audit the effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and recommend enhancements. Assess base pay programs, incentive pay programs, competitive pay practices, and developing trends. Manage and support the development, design, and administration processes for incentive compensation programs. Manage job matching and data submission processes for sales & service compensation surveys. Analyze and utilize survey data results and statistics. Research industry and local market conditions and competitive pay challenges. Evaluate new jobs, promotions, and reclassifications and recommend compensation components for positions, including the mix of base and incentive pay, market reference points and global grades.Philips is an equal opportunity employer.

Experience Requirements:
Preferred ProfileBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Financial Analysis, Economics or related fields or any equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
3-5+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting job content and market pay data to make job evaluation and competitive pay recommendations. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel. Previous experience in HRIS applications such as PeopleSoft or SAP highly desired. Strong skills in conducting statistical analysis and modeling. Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Ability to establish and maintain business partnerships and cooperative working relationships. Ability to work productively and efficiently with limited resources.
