College Recruiter

Seasoned College/University Recruiter needed to source for positions on campus for HSBC North America. Working with College/University and Relations Management team to fill immediate and long term vacancies throughout HSBC North America. Ability to build strong relationships with colleges and universities is a must. Screen applicants and resumes upon receipt. Refer applicants for particular job openings to Centralized Talent Acquisition group or direct to Business Line. Interview applicants to explain opportunities within HSBC and evaluate applicant interest, background, experience and personal qualifications against position requirements. Maintain applicant records in applicant tracking system. Participate in on campus interview days, career fairs, and information sessions. Build strong relationships with campus faculty and student organizations. Represent HSBC North America at SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) and other campus related recruiting events. Ensure hiring practices are in line with Company philosophy and commitment to diversity and equality. Ensure practices follow HR regulatory compliance.

job Requirements



Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum of five years proven campus recruiting experience, or equivalent with heavy emphasis on College recruitment

Working knowledge of current government regulations related to employment (i.e. EEOC, ADA, ADEA, EPA, EOE, FLSA, and other related federal or state regulations)

Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages

Good understanding of current HR system and demonstrated ability to complete queries and collect, evaluate, analyze, and organize data relating to HR functions into logical, useful format

Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, negotiation, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills

80 - 90% travel required HSBC Compensation
