Collaboration Developer Analyst

The Collaboration Developer Analyst will be performing design, development and support for multiple applications to assist associates and our clients in working effectively together. These include implementation and extension of document management and collaboration tooling such as eRoom, fully Hewitt developed solutions in technologies such as J2EE and Domino, as well as the integration of purchased and built solutions.

The developer analyst works closely with other developer analysts and developers taking direction from systems analysts to help deliver new releases of the application.

Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, develop and support application code using multiple technologies.
Manage and migrate application source code utilizing predefined tools and procedures.
Conduct thorough unit and system tests. Work with Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure developed functionality meets business needs and is production ready. Provide detailed comprehensive documentation.

Technical Skills:
1+ year J2EE experience
Working knowledge of servlets, JSP, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Working knowledge of SQL
Familiarity with open-source technologies a plus
Knowledge of .NET is a plus
Knowledge of eRoom is a plus
Knowledge of Lotus Notes/Domino is a plus

Years of Experience:
2 to 5 years of software development experience, preferably in Java/J2EE.
6+ months of detailed design experience, including handing off design to developers for coding

Education:
Bachelors Degree required preferably in a Computer Science discipline
