Cognos Administrator - Mercer HR Services US

Provide product-level support to end users and technical staffMaintain a high level of customer service by isolating problems and expediently resolving issuesAnalyzing and implementing tasks for existing or proposed Cognos systems, including cube builds, security architecture and deployment packages. Create and modify cubes and reports Administering application access directory and processing requests for new accounts. Provide Cognos training to internal users Installing and upgrading Cognos software Tuning applications and environment for better performance Troubleshooting issues with existing cubes and reports.
REQUIREMENTS


BS degree in Computer Science, Technical degree or equivalent education

3-5 years of Cognos administration experience

Experience with Cognos Series 8 BI is a must

Experience with Cognos Series 7, Impromptu, Powerplay, Transformer, Reportnet and Upfront is preferred

Experience migrating Cognos Series 7 reports to Reportnet is preferrd

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong SQL skills is a must

Knowledge of Health and Group Benefits or Defined Benefits a plus
