Claims Specialist-Workers' Compensation (NY State)

Investigate and handle all New York State work comp claims, including scheduled loss adjustments, permanent partial disability and section 32 settlement negotiations. Operate somewhat independently within your assigned authorization. May have numerous contacts with claimant and company attorneys by telephone and in writing.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: College degree or equivalent business experience and excellent communication skills are required. At least 1-2 years of previous adjusting experience and involvement in IIA, AIC and/or CPCU coursework is required. The higher levels of this position (11 & 13)are exempt positions.
