Claim Assistant (Worker’s Compensation)

This position is responsible for assisting CHI Risk and Insurance claims handlers. Claim assistants are also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with MBO representatives.1. General office support responsibilities to include: providing phone coverage, opening, coding and distributing mail, document filing, and copying.2. Establishment of electronic and physical files for new claims.3. Assists with bill payments.4. Maintains closed physical files.5. State mandated Electronic Data Input for workers compensation files.6. Communicates with MBO representatives, outside vendors and providers and internal Risk & Insurance Management staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Data Entry experience preferred.High School Diploma or GED required.Benefits
