Check Handling Processor - Experienced

The SS (check) ProcessorExperienced provides check handling and mailing services to Benefit Center teams.Responsibilities
Â* Reconcile checks/log with Imaging department.
Â* File checks by date.
Â* Lock checks in safe.
Â* Forward checks to trust or participant as directed by the PS teams.
Â* Perform monthly audit of remaining checks in safe.
Â* Maintain/coordinate cutoff schedule for all PS teams.
Â* Maintain documentation/procedures.
Â* Maintain monthly statistics.
Â* Responsible for disaster recovery procedures.
Â* Carry out special requests.
Â* Serve as resource for questions referred by PS teams.
Â* Investigate/solve problems.Time Allocation
Â* 5% Administrative duties
Â* 80%Manage all physical checks for Lincolnshire
Â* 5% Disaster recovery
Â* 10%Client team contactThis role may include opportunities for cross-training in other functional areas. In some areas, this may include a lifting requirement up to 50 lbs. Associates should check with their managers on the lifting requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School diploma, some college preferredFunctional Skills

Strong oral and written communication skills.
Good time management skills with a focus on meeting time commitments and exhibiting a sense of urgency to complete the work within service level commitments.
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability for one's work.
Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish the above tasks within agreed timelines.
Works well in an environment that can change quickly, and is flexible with regard to workload and / or specific tasks assigned.
General office experience is a plus.
Previous imaging experience is a plus but not required.
