Branch Safety Coordinator

HydroChem Industrial Services, Inc.,a leader in industrial services technology specializing in hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck services and other specialty services with headquarters in Deer Park, Texas, is currently seeking Branch Safety Coordinators for Corpus Christi and Texas City Locations.

This position is responsible for Field Safety Compliance, training field employees in safe working practices, OSHA compliance, and audits

Essential Functions:

Promote HydroChem’s safety, environmental and operational policies.
Conduct safety job observations, incident and accident investigations.
Conduct safety and new hire training.
Interface with branch safety professionals.
Working turnarounds at customer sites
REQUIREMENTS

Good understanding of HydroChem’s Safety Program & Standards.
Must be highly motivated, a self-starter and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be available to work some weekends when required.
Possess good training skills.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Associates Degree and 3 years of experience is desired.
Field safety experience in the petro-chemical field is a plus.
