Bilingual Plant HR Generalist

Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing industry that is publicly traded on the NASDAQ with annual revenues of 400M+. They are seeking a bilingual (eng/spn) HR generalist for this newly created position within their coporate HR function. The position will require 25% travel to 2 facilities, located in Central and South America. This person will be the HR contact for both facilities and be responsible for recruiting management/turn over, compensation and benefits questions and administration, as well as handling all ER issues for each plant. The ideal candidate will have administered benefits and 401K plans, have a general understanding of compensation and be able to help design a benefits package.
REQUIREMENTS
This position will be the first point of contact for 2 manufacturing facilities located in (1)South America and (1) Central America. Total employee population is 105 EE for both plants combined. This person will need face time for each plant immediately after coming on board, but travel will only be 25% annually. Responsibilities include handling all employee relations issues for the plants (minor and escalated), administering and communicating the benefits, 401K and compensation plans, recruiting and staffing management and handling all other HR related activities. This person will be resonsible for managing 2 dotted line reports...1/plant. Candidates should be local to Metro-Atlanta. The corporate office is located in Alpharetta, GA.
