Provides assistance to staff on how to effectively access medical, dental, and Short Term Disability benefits. Serves as a contact with Plan Providers. Responds to employee inquiries regarding Leaves and Short Term Disability. Resolves leave questions from employees. Conducts new hire orientation, as needed. Assists Benefits Director with special projects. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.Education/Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent years of business administration/HR experience; Four years of experience in benefits administration; Attention to detail; Excellent telephone skills; PC proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel; Strong customer service orientation; Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
