records related to personnel changes, assuring accuracy and timeliness of data; assists Human
Resources staff and managers as needed; and assists employees with benefit related questions. Input data into SAP for all Human Resources activities, e.g., New Hires, Terminations,
Promotions, Transfers, Salary Changes, Benefits, etc. in a timely manner to ensure
proper payroll processing.
Accurate and timely filing of all paperwork into the personnel files
Create personnel files for all new hires which includes creating labels using the Label Plus software
Sort, stamp, and distribute incoming mail within the HR Dept.
Responsible for routing of paperwork to appropriate parties.
Assist employees and site Human Resources Managers/Representatives with questions
regarding benefit plans and procedures.
As needed, calculate benefit retro premiums and refunds and provide information to the Payroll department for processing.
Coordinate with leave management vendor representatives and site HR Representatives
to ensure accurate input of all Leave of Absence's (LOA). Process LOA paperwork and
provide pay information to Payroll department prior to payroll processing deadline.
Conduct New Employee Orientation and open enrollment meetings.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures,
and state, federal and local laws.
Assist with various projects as needed.
Performs related duties as assigned.Qualifications
Two (2) to three (3) years related experience, including:Knowledge of:
Current Company policies and procedures, including Human Resources policies and
procedures, and Federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to Human
Resources and Benefits Administration.
English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Business and personal computer hardware and software applications.
Human Resources Information Systems applications.
Current Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Skill in:
Implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective
management of allocated resources.
Interpreting and applying policies and procedures and Federal, state and local laws and
regulations pertaining to Human Resources and Benefits Administration.
Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Working independently; managing and prioritizing multiple projects; and working within
time constraints.
Utilizing computer systems and software applications for data entry, generating reports
and correspondence.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
