Assistant Director of Inpatient Services
We are currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill our Assistant Director of Inpatient Services position. This position will help to oversee the departments of ICU, Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics and Family Birth Center. The Assistant Director is responsible for unit coordination and day-to-day supervision. Supports the nursing units by providing expertise in the nursing practice process, by facilitating the delivery of patient care through access to ancillary departments, and through providing direction with staffing, admissions, employee relations matters and patient/family matters. Supports the Inpatient units by being a resource for issues, as well as interpreting and enforcing policies and procedures of the organization. The Assistant shall be advised of all pertinent information and shall be responsible for oversight/reporting all significant occurrences. This position interacts with staff throughout the facility.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and BSN. A minimum of 2 years of acute care/hospital RN experience required. One year OB/GYN experience and supervisory/manager experience preferred. Certification in CPR also required.
